Compressed Air Purification System
A compressed air purification system combines a compressor, an air receiver tank, a refrigerated air dryer and precision filters: the compressor supplies the air, the tank stabilises pressure, the dryer removes moisture and the filters remove oil mist and particles, delivering clean air that meets the process requirement. System Composition
Air compressor
Fixed speed, PM VSD, two-stage or oil-free, selected by air demand and pressure as the air source.
Air receiver tank
Stores air, stabilises pressure, absorbs demand peaks and separates moisture and oil.
Refrigerated air dryer
Cools air to 2-10°C, condenses water and lowers the pressure dew point.
Precision filters
Multi-layer filtration of particles, moisture and oil mist, with optional differential pressure indicator and automatic drain valve.

VSD or Fixed Speed?
Where air demand varies, choose a PM VSD compressor: VSD units improve energy efficiency by about 7%-30% over fixed speed and cut idle losses. Where demand is steady and the machine runs at full load, fixed speed keeps the initial investment lower.
